The Action is Mounting

How often have you been falling from an 80 story building after a death-defying leap of faith and thought, “I wish I had my action camera right now.” Remember the last time you and your friends were reminiscing about narrowly escaping that massive avalanche with a series of epic flips and shreds down the mountain and wish you had caught it all on camera? The worst instance and this happens to me often, is the missing camera when a pod of mermaids attacks my boat, deep in the Pacific Ocean because I’m fishing on their hunting grounds. We never seem to have our action cameras when we need them most! Accessory Genie is sick of the excuses for never catching these once in a lifetime shots. Our USA Gear line has removed these issues and proudly introduces the USA Gear Series of Action Mounts for both action and point and shoot cameras. It’s now only a matter of time until Bigfoot is finally caught on camera!

Whether you’re surfing, sky diving, base jumping or just riding mad dunes, we have you covered. USA Gear offers many types of action mounts that attach to different surfaces, vehicles or even your body to accommodate all types of filming and photography. The series includes nine different mounting options:
  1. Chest Strap Mount to offer a ‘lower-than-helmet’ point of view.
  2. Flat Adhesive Mount to stick directly to flat, smooth surfaces.
  3. Suction Cup Mount to capture moving or stationary video and photos.
  4. Handlebar Mount to easily take fun photos and videos of trails and trips.
  5. Head Strap Mount that can be worn over a helmet, hat or directly on your head.
  6. Helmet Mount for vented helmets or smooth surfaces.
  7. Large Adhesive Mount which uses 4-point industrial strength adhesive to securely film even in wet situations.
  8. Wrist Strap to wear like a watch and take your videos to another level.
  9. Zip Strap Mount that easily adjusts like a zip tie for universal filming options.
The USA Gear Action Mount Series has a little something for everyone. Not only are these mount affordable, they offer premium, quality construction as evident by the 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty that comes with each. Go to www.accessorygenie.com and get yours today!

Sith Lords and Bass

Star Wars Episode 7 is rapidly approaching, planning to be released sometime in 2015, and the amount of drama and news continues to build. A new Millennium Falcon video has revealed the use of the ‘Bat Mobile’ as part of the ship. Uhm ok? Another hot topic has been the complicated history between Harrison Ford and his character Han Solo. Ford has always been quick to recognize his roles as Indiana Jones and other characters but has always had some hesitancy when discussing Han Solo. In a 2010 interview, Ford was even quoted as saying “I’m done with him,” in reference to the iconic character. Despite all this, Ford has re-accepted the role and will be in the new movie. Two weeks ago, Ford broke his leg during shooting. Has all this Han Solo bashing finally caught up to him? Is there a Sith Lord curse? Whatever the reason we wish him a speedy recovery.

With all this Star Wars talk consuming the internet, Accessory Genie thought it was as good a time as any to release our Sith Lord version of the GOgroove BassPULSE 2.1 Stereo Speaker Sound System. Just like the Force Lightning used by these Sith Lords, the speakers include a bold design with translucent acrylic molding highlighted by their electric red LED accents. Unlike the intensive training and schooling the Brotherhood of Darkness, Rule of Two and other Sith Orders employs upon its members, the GOgroove BassPULSE comes with easy setup by simply using a standard 3.5mm AUX audio output. The universal design of the speaker system with full-range satellite speakers and a side-firing subwoofer delivers powerful, clear audio with any desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone or MP3 player. Equipped with a pulse button, the speakers and subwoofer will glow red or offer a pulsating light show when you turn the equalizer past 80%. Channel your inner Darkside with these GOgroove BassPULSE Speakers.

The GOgroove BassPULSE 2.1 Stereo Speaker Sound System is now available on www.accessorygenie.com.  Go to the search bar and type in GOgroove BassPULSE to view this product and more! You don’t have to commit to the Darkside to enjoy the BassPULSE – We still offer this sound system in blue. The choice is yours!

Albino Cobra and Headphones

With Thousand Oaks at the center of the news with the deadly Albino Monocled Cobra Snake terrorizing the small suburb, now is as good of a time as any to educate the community on these venomous creatures. Cobra comes from the Portuguese word for “snake” and is oftentimes adopted as the name for other venomous snakes. The Cobra is famous for the hood-like shape they make with their neck when they feel threatened or angry, as well as their excellent climbing and swimming abilities. Their exceptional speed, loud hiss and toxic venom make the Cobra snake one of the most dangerous snakes in the world. There are approximately 270 different types of Cobras living today all of which call Africa, Australia, and Southern Asia their home. This begs the question – how did this rare albino cobra get loose in Thousand Oaks, California? An even better question – Where is it now?

At Accessory Genie, we proudly carry a different albino creature that puts out a louder sound than that of the King Cobra. Of course, I’m talking about the GOgroove AudioLUX OE Over-Ear Stereo Headphones. The mixture of matte and high gloss surfaces make this pair of headphones a sight to behold. The premium 40mm drivers deliver dangerously rich sound quality with balanced audio making it THE option for any style of music. The 72” braided 3.5mm audio cable looks as fresh as the King Cobra as well as coils neatly away for storage. The in-line microphone allows you to make hands-free calls, play/pause your audio and skip tracks on most devices. With powerful audio output and plush ear cups, the OE headphones offer a comfortable fit and exceptional sound isolation no matter the choice of the music.

Unlike the albino Cobra, the GOgroove AudioLUX OE headphones are easily found at www.accessorygenie.com. Type in GOgroove AudioLUX OE in the search bar and choose between the albino white headphones or the ‘black mamba’ black headphones. You can’t go wrong with either!
