Happy Holidays

The term Happy Holidays can mean a variety of things depending on the people you are talking too. The two most well-known Holidays are Christmas and Hanukkah but there are plenty more celebrated during the December month.

• In Buddhism there is Bodhi Day, December 8^th, which celebrates the day that Buddha experienced enlightenment.
• In Hinduism, they celebrate Pancha Ganapati, December 21^st-25^th, which honors Lord Ganesha.
• In Paganism, both Yule, a Pagan winter festival, and Yalda or Winter Solstice, are celebrated from late December into early January.
