PowerUP like Toad from Super Mario

ReVIVE PowerUP 3P - Rapid Car Charger with a DC Outlet & Dual USB Ports - Click Image to CloseDo you remember Toad from Super Mario? He is the little guy with the mushroom hat? Princess Peach's attendant? The guardian of the Mushroom Kingdom?  Ok, how about the red mushroom itself? Whenever you needed to get larger you would grab it, and instantly, you would transform into a bigger character.  Then there was the green mushroom that made you POWERUP by giving you an extra life. Basically, the ReVIVE PowerUP 3P is just like this...but a bit better!

This 3-port charger works via DC outlet - perfect for when you are driving from place to place. There are 2 USB ports and an additional DC plug. With 2 amps, it is possible to charge multiple devices quickly. The plug can be folded making it the perfect travel companion. Most importantly, the 3P also comes with a built-in fuse (plus a spare) to safeguard against surges as an added level of protection.

Though it cannot make you bigger where you can fight Bowser and Koopa Troopa, you can still ensure that you have enough power on the go!

Keeping Up with Technology (sorry, Kardashians)

I did not realize how "out of it" I was with technology until I was told about this Bluetooth Audio Adapter and Receiver! My first question was "what does that do?"  Luckily, there was a teenager around who educated me. For those of you out there who are just as bad as me (but are in denial), let me explain to you what such a device is capable of doing.

GOgroove BlueGate Wireless Bluetooth A2DP Audio Adapter & Receiver
A bluetooth receiver is able to pair your bluetooth device (smartphone, tablet, MP3 player, etc) to a speaker. It's basically the "middle man" to ensure you can hear your favorite tunes nice and loud if you do not want to wear headphones. For example, you are in a car. You pair your device to the receiver. Next, you plug  the receiver into the AUX line-in port and voilĂ .! You have great sound!

But here's the cool part: you can ALSO connect your wired headphones - those that ARE NOT bluetooth - to it! There's a 3.5mm Audio Coupler that allows you to connect a wired headphone to the receiver to make it wireless (ie: bluetooth). Now you can listen to your music privately and still be able to move around without having the smartphone, tablet or MP3 player attached to you!

Yes, I know you probably think I'm ridiculous for getting so excited about something that probably most of the world knows, but, hey, at least I can say "I'm down!"

Check out GOgroove Bluegate, an Audio Adapter & Receiver, that is on sale now! Soon, you will understand my excitement!

Remember the Koalas

Though koalas are not endangered species, they are considered "threatened" species by the Australian Federal Government in 2012. According to the Australian Koala Foundation, these native Australian animals are being hampered by the destruction of their habitat by humans, bushfire, domestic dog attacks and road accidents.  The Australian Koala Foundation is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1986 to conserve the koalas habitat.

Accessory Genie supports the Australian Koala Foundation by putting their message on the packaging of our GOgroove Koala Pal, a portable speaker that is designed in the image of a koala. What more does Lance Armstrong have to lose?

A LOT. The disgraced seven-time Tour de France and Olympic medal winner Lance Armstrong confessed that he did use performance-enhancing drugs during his recent interview with Oprah Winfrey after years of denying the allegations.  He was stripped of his medals in June 2012 after the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) charged him with using performance-enhancing drugs, as well as all titles that he won since August 1998 and received a lifetime ban from any cycling competition. But it does not end there. Armstrong also lost his endorsement with Nike and has been asked to repay prize money that he won.

Some say his apology was insincere. Some say he did the interview with Oprah to stay in the limelight. Whatever his reasons are the fact still remains that after years of lying, he finally told the truth. But is it too late?  While he cannot be prosecuted for perjury after lying under oath in a 2006 deposition due to the statute of limitations, Armstrong will have legal battles forthcoming.
USA Gear Action-Ready Bicycle Handlebar Camera / Camcorder Video Mount for Flip MinoHD and UltraHD , Kodak PlaySport , Sony Bloggie , Vivitar , GE DV1 , Toshiba Camileo Pocket Cameras
Years of lying has and will continue to cost him. The Sunday Times in London is now suing the cyclist for $1.5 million. Why? Because Armstrong sued them for libel in 2004 after it published claims that Armstrong used prohibited drugs. I guess I can't blame the guy; he had to make his story believable, right? Interestingly, they settled with Armstrong for half a million dollars. So if Armstrong does lose this suit, it will cost him three times more than what he was awarded!

The US Attorney's office in Los Angeles has reopened his its investigation on him and the Department of Justice may join the whistleblower suit that was filed by Armstrong's teammate Floyd Landis in 2010. As this story continues to unfold, I am pretty sure more lawsuits, "exclusive interviews" and pictures will be released.

Now what does all of this have to do with today's blog? Blatantly said, Armstrong will not have the chance to use this awesome GPS handlebar mount during his next race.

Having a Mouse in your House isn't all that Bad

Seeing that the holidays are over and "real life" has started again, I decided to take down all my Christmas decorations. I gathered the artificial tree and wreath, the lights on the outside of the house, the stockings and the ornaments in one pile. Then I went to the garage to put them away.

Now, mind you: I was feeling like a million dollars because I usually wait to do this until mid-February. I put on the garage light and out of the corner of my eye, I see "something" dash behind a box to another box in the corner. "Oh no!" I thought. I have a mouse in my house!

Advanced Bluetooth Wireless Optical Mouse for Laptops
Mice are the worst - ok, maybe rats are worse - because they breed like crazy! According to Pets World For Kids, these mammals can give birth every three weeks having up to 12 offspring each time!  Do the math: that's over 200 babies per year! Yes, I know, a little more information that you wanted to know about mice, but who knows - you may be able to use this in a science class at some point!

I ran to my roommate and told him there's a mouse and what did he do? He proceeded to make a joke out of it saying, "Of course, we do. We have this really cool wireless mouse that makes using the laptop easier." ....absolutely no help at all!  At least that was my initial thought.

After getting my heart rate back to normal, I decided to use that very Bluetooth Wireless Optical Mouse to go online to see which traps are recommended to catch a mouse. Just because my roommate made a point of talking about the mouse for the laptop, I noticed how useful it is. I feel that I can search items quicker than using the touchpad. Isn't that ironic: using a mouse to get rid of a mouse?

So until my mouse problem is taken care of, I guess my Christmas decorations will stay in my house for a bit longer; hopefully not until mid-February again!
